Inmate Outreach

Prison outreach has always been a vital part of the vision of the church. Prisoners in Africa are observably underserved, unseen, and are among the most vulnerable in society. The Biblical mandate to “proclaim liberty to the captives” (Isaiah 61:1) has propelled us to be active in evangelism and discipleship. For more than three decades, dedicated church members visit the prisons to run Bible Studies, perform water baptisms, and provide prayer and support for inmates seeking change and rehabilitation. Celebrate Impact has effectively partnered with the Prison Ministries and other Prison Correctional Services, NGOs, Churches and corporate sponsors to provide targeted practical support in conjunction with ministry. This includes; providing clean potable water, digging a borehole, constructing a water reservoir, and providing teachings on running sustainable agricultural projects for food security on prison premises.
