Champions

Champions is an offshoot of one of our healthcare initiatives that focuses on young people living with HIV/AIDs. The programme was started by a long-standing congregation member, Dr Reid, who together with health professionals and young leaders in the church sought out young people living with HIV/AIDS. Developing a programme of outreaches and youth camps, Champions are offered ministry, with practical psychosocial support. Champions are also provided access to healthcare needs and dietary requirements to support treatment adherence along with links to partners for livelihood support. Champions has touched more than 15000 young people living with HIV/AIDS in several nations in Africa (Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini Swaziland and Uganda)
