We value:
•    Teamwork: our method is teams
•    Excellence: we have a standard of excellence
•    Accountability: we account for what is entrusted to us with rigor and transparency
•    Compassion: we are driven by compassion
•    Honour: we honour God and the sanctity of human life

Strategic Objectives

At Celebration Health we have a five-pronged approach to our mandate:

1.    Welfare of health care providers

We are dedicated to supporting the physical and spiritual needs of medical students and health providers. To this end, we paid monetary allowances and food packs to over 500 health workers during the cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe (Dec 2008 – March 2009) and began a Celebration Health mentorship program for students working with us.

2.    Providing basic health care services

Since its inception, Celebration Health has supported urban and rural clinics with medical supplies and manpower. In December 2008, we opened a Celebration Health and Wellness clinic in Harare to provide subsidized health care. Plans are at an advanced stage to establish a state-of-the-art specialist health and wellness centre in Harare which will include among other things:
  •    Specialist surgical and medical services
  •    Day care
  •    Accident and Emergency facility
  •    Teaching hospital
3.    Providing relief to distressed communities:

In December 2008, Celebration Health launched Operation Outstretched Hand in response to a cholera outbreak. The initiative reached over 10,000 people with treatment, health education and access to clean water within the first month.
The organisation also runs a programme, Champions for Life, for children living with and affected by HIV/ AIDS. One of our goals is to conduct one major outreach to a rural/ remote area every month. Celebration health also facilitates medical missions by teams of local and international experts. We have facilitated hernia, cleft lip and palate, as well as VP shunt surgery which benefited a total of over 900 children.

4.     Providing health education:

When we responded to the cholera outbreak, we also sent out community health educators who then got involved in training of community health volunteers as well as community mobilization and empowerment.

5.    Mobilizing resources for health

In the past few years Celebration Health has received and distributed essential medicines and supplies to public and mission hospitals. We have a proven track record in ensuring donations reach intended beneficiaries. Since 2005, we have distributed essential medicines, supplies and equipment worth over US$5 million.
